The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam, has announced the recruitment of 1487 Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts and 8230 Graduate Teacher (GT) vacancies for Arts, Science, Hindi, and Sanskrit. As per the new guidelines, all applicants must appear for the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) cum Recruitment Test, scheduled for 19th January 2025.

Steps to Download Assam TET Admit Card
Follow these steps to download the admit card:
  • Visit the Official Website: Scroll down to the Important Web-Links section.
  • Click on the TET Admit Card Link.
  • Enter your Application Number and Password.
  • Submit the form.
  • Your TET Admit Card will be displayed.
  • Download and print the admit card.
Note: Candidates must bring the printed admit card and a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN, Driving License, Voter ID). PwBD candidates need to carry a certificate from a competent authority..   

  • Common Question Paper: One paper for all PGT subjects.
  • Exam Venue Selection: During the online application process, candidates must choose their preferred district.
Merit List Preparation
  • Qualified Candidate Ratio: 1:1 of the advertised vacancies.
  • Vacancy Adjustment: If posts remain vacant after the first merit list, a maximum of two additional merit lists may be published.
  • Subject-wise Merit List: Separate lists for each subject will be prepared based on TET scores.
