What is SAMARTH Portal?
The SAMARTH Admission Portal is an innovative initiative by the Government of Assam under the DHE, offering a unified platform to streamline undergraduate admissions across the state. It enables students to:
- Apply to up to 10 institutes with a single application.
- Eliminate multiple and overlapping applications.
- Benefit from government welfare schemes, such as the Fee Waiver Scheme, which is available only to students applying through SAMARTH.
Previously, the DARPAN portal served for Higher Secondary (HS) admissions. SAMARTH now takes the baton forward for college-level UG admissions.
