Eligibility Criteria for RRB ALP Vacancy
Age Limit (As on 01 July 2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
Age Relaxation:
- OBC-NCL: 3 Years
- SC/ST: 5 Years
Educational Qualifications:
Candidate must have one of the following qualifications:
A)
- Matriculation/SSLC + ITI (from NCVT/SCVT recognized institutes) in one of these trades:
Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright Mechanic, Mechanic Radio & TV, Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature Winder, Mechanic Diesel, Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration & AC Mechanic
OR
- Matriculation/SSLC + Completed Apprenticeship in above trades
B)
- 3-Year Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering
OR - Combination of these disciplines from recognized institute
Note:
Engineering Degree holders in the above disciplines are also eligible.
Medical & Physical Fitness Requirements
- Medical Standard: A1
- Physical Standard: Fit in all respects
- Vision:
- Distant Vision: 6/6 without glasses
- Near Vision: Sn. 0.6 without glasses
- Must pass color vision, night vision, field of vision & mesopic vision tests
