A total of 90 vacancies are available for this elite officer entry scheme. Online applications are open from 13th May 2025 to 12th June 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for TES 54 Entry
Educational Qualification:
- 10+2 pass with minimum 60% aggregate in PCM.
- Must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2025.
Age Limit:
- Born between 02 July 2006 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive).
- Age range: 16½ to 19½ years as of 01 January 2026.
Nationality:
- Citizen of India, subject of Nepal, or Indian origin migrants from select countries (as per official norms).
Marital Status:
- Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
- Candidates must remain unmarried until the end of training.
TES 54 Selection Process: Step-by-Step Journey to Commission
- Shortlisting of Applications based on JEE (Main) 2025 CRL rank.
- SSB Interview at selection centres in Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar.
- Stage I: OIR Test & PPDT
- Stage II: Psychological Tests, GTO Tasks & Personal Interview
- Medical Examination for recommended candidates.
- Final Merit List based on SSB scores only.
- Joining Letter for training issued to medically fit and merit-listed candidates.
Indian Army TES 54 Salary & Benefits
- Stipend during training: ₹56,100/month
- Rank on Commissioning: Lieutenant
- Pay Level: 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500)
- Military Service Pay (MSP): ₹15,500/month
- CTC after commissioning: ₹17–18 LPA approx.
