Eligibility Criteria for Assam GNM Admission
To apply for the GNM Entrance Examination, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
Educational Qualification
Any one of the following:
- 10+2 passed in Science (PCB) and English with minimum 40% aggregate marks.
- 10+2 in Arts stream with English Core/Elective or Vocational stream in Health Care Science with 40% marks.
- 10+2 vocational ANM course recognized by the Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks.
- Registered ANM with State Nursing Council.

- Minimum Age: 17 years (as on 31st December 2025)
- Maximum Age: 35 years
- No upper age limit for RANM/RLHV candidates.
